Welcome to Carmichael Border Collies. We are owned by Pete & Ann Carmichael and located at Timber Lake, South Dakota, in north central South Dakota. Timber Lake is located west of the Missouri River on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation and just south of the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. |

We receive a little bit of help with the operation from our daughter & son-in-law, Heidi & Deb Allen Ducheneaux along with their children Morgan, Brandt & Cole. In fact a few of the dogs you will see here are owned by them. |

Here at the ranch we currently run 650 head of cross-bred ewes and are very proud of the well socialized Border Collie dogs we raise (due to Morgan, Brandt & Cole). Our dogs are exposed to both sheep and cattle (we have a very understanding neighbor with cattle)! |
